Gate valves are devices that allow liquid to pass through and stop the flow by moving a flap, called a gate valve, in a vertical plane due to a worm shaft. Gate valves are not control valves and must be used both fully open and fully closed. Perfect sealing is provided by a soft cushioning coating on the slider.
